"Wonderful cottage"
Our second stay at this wonderful cottage in 2021! We have had 6+ holidays in the UK this year but we always find this cottage and it's attention to detail puts it at the top. We'll be back!
"Fabulous fortnight"
One of the most relaxing, well-appointed self-catering places we have ever stayed in. Super to have such a great kitchen with plenty of worktops and storage. We loved the bed - so comfy - and the excellent shower. Ideal location for buses, car trips and walks

Glenlockhart Cottage has been the most wonderful home-from-home! Cindy and Paul have really thought of everything and there was nothing we wanted for but didn't have. Comfy beds too, so with the peace and quiet we slept wonderfully. Buses are super-easy to use and we didn't drive at all. Thankyou so much for an amazing cottage/stay

Had an amazing short break here in Edinburgh, after such a long time being unable to travel. The cottage has everything we could possibly hope for, and the location is exactly what we were looking for. The walks around the local area are impressive and so picturesque

What a fantastic cottage in a great location so close to the centre of Edinburgh. The cottage has so many lovely homely touches and is beautifully presented. The garden is so peaceful you would think you were in the middle of the countryside

We have loved Edinburgh and the cottage has been perfect. So cosy relaxing in front of the fire, super-comfy beds, and I really love the kitchen. It's so quiet at night and we heard an owl!

This really is the best of both - quiet and beautiful location but very close to the city centre due to the convenience of the bus service. The cottage is amazing! Cindy and Paul - you have thought of everything! We have thoroughly loved our stay

The cottage is really great. The quietness of the place, the garden. Everything very well arranged, with character and cosy. And we love the little Scottish library! You were fantastic hosts, we immediately felt welcome and at home. We also thank you for the basket with lovely Scottish treats
